In 1050, Patriarch Michael I ordered the blasphemous tome to be suppressed and burned.

It is during this period that one finds the secret history of Wessex, roughly fifty years before the House of Denmark and roughly a century before the House of Normandy. Villages appear that will fall through the cracks of history, clandestine wars will be fought for eldritch purposes, and strange events will grip the citizenry.
